Myrtle Beach has tons of Holiday events during the month of December – fun for all ages! From Christmas at Broadway, Christmas at Pirates, Night of Thousand Candles, holiday musicals, and much more, there is surely something for everyone to enjoy.
Brookgreen Gardens Nights of Thousand Candles

Every year, around the beginning of December, Brookgreen Gardens transforms into a magical light garden and presents the Brookgreen Gardens Nights of Thousand Candles. Complete with more than 2,500 hand-lit candles and hung string lights, the gardens create a whimsical experience, sure to awe everyone.
Perfect for all ages, you will not want to miss this festival of lights!
Theatre of the Republic – Christmas Musical

Nestled in the heart of Downtown Conway, the Local Theatre of the Republic offers a one of a kind Christmas Musical. This show brings “Buddy the Elf” and The Grinch together in a journey to save each other and Christmas.
A good twist on two-holiday classics, sure to get a laugh out of everyone. Even your stubborn uncle!
The Market Common Christmas

The Market Common transforms into a tiny little Christmas town every year during the month of December. Complete with carriage rides, Santa photo-ops, and a Christmas tree lighting – market commons has something to offer for everyone. Below are a few events taking place throughout The Market Common:

North Myrtle Beach Light Show

Santa’s Village – Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only from November 29 – December 15.

The Great Christmas Light Show in North Myrtle Beach is the perfect activity for cool holiday nights. Pile everyone in the car and head over to the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex and drive along a 1.5-mile-long holiday light show.
Starting on Sunday, Nov. 29, Santa’s village will open at the Light show. Santa’s Village offers a petting zoo, Santa Express Train, hot cocoa, a holiday maze, and more! Santa’s village is not open every night until Dec. 19, 2019, below are the times for Santa’s Village.
Santa Crawl on Marsh Walk

Looking for a more adult event, the Marsh Walk Santa Crawl might be for you. Dress up as Santa and go to the Marsh Walk for an evening of bar hopping. This year, each restaurant on the boardwalk will be featuring a special Tito’s holiday drink.
Don’t want to dress up as Santa? That’s okay too! Dress up as anything that puts you in the holiday mood – an Elf, a reindeer, the Grinch, a snowman, you could even be a tree. For those who choose to dress up, you can enter into the, “most spirited outfits” contest.
